In future, the men's division of the Hucke AG will be concentrating on the Bush brand, the Lufthansa licensing product, and Frank Eden men's wear
The Hucke AG has restructured its HAKA area. In the men's division at today's location, Oeding, the brands Bush, Frank Eden men's wear and the licensing for Lufthansa leisurewear by Bush are being integrated.
This measure unleashes the possibility of strengthening and pushing the existing sportswear brands in an expanding, dynamic field.
As a complete collection with a strong functional appeal, Bush will continue to maintain and develop the leading product, jackets, but will also take into consideration and further refine the aspects of complementary product groups in the sportswear sector. By means of targeted shop activities and a fantastic product mix, it will position itself more intensely in the potential market segment of growing, modern sportswear.
Frank Eden men's wear will further develop the "overall look" alongside the very topical range of reasonably priced jackets.
The John Slim product will be discontinued after the delivery for the autumn/winter season 2004/05. With John Slim the company had positioned itself in the younger market sector without having created the respective vertical aspect early on. Here it is in direct competition with the verticals and brands that have already established the necessary competitive advantages beforehand, via shops and own sales areas. Despite a very good collection, the Board of the Hucke AG sees better possibilities in the area of Best Agers. The demographical changes within the age structures lend the positioned brands Bush and Frank Eden men's wear more opportunities to expand qualitatively and also to grant the recently added Lufthansa Collection continued success.
After the retirement of the former manager in September 2003, the individual brands have been managed and maintained by one team during this transition period.
From now on, Mr Frank Skalicky will be entrusted with the overall management of the new men's division of the Hucke AG. Pursuant to his former activities at the Hucke AG, Mr Skalicky successfully developed the Bush brand from a jacket collection into coordinates for modern Best Agers. In addition to this, he initiated the licence for Lufthansa Leisurewear by Bush.
